Lower Mainland Biodiesel Waste & Cooking Oil Recycling Inc. is a locally owned and operated company that specializes in the procurement, refining, distributing, and transporting of  bio-fuel.  The team comprises of a network of  highly experienced and qualified professionals with over ten years in the industry.  The production division worked for one of the largest environment companies in Canada that produced fuel for one of the largest hydro companies in Canada.  We have a green initiative in that bio-diesel is a renewable, clean burning diesel replacement that reduces our dependence on imported diesel, creating green jobs and improving our environment.

We honor our commitments to whom we conduct business with, and aim to create and sustain long term pro-active contractual relationships with our customers.  Our service includes free pick-up, bin placement and service/maintenance for said bins.  Exceptional, functional, and technical expertise coupled with extensive industry knowledge makes Lower Mainland Biodiesel the ideal choice for your used cooking oil removal.

Apart from offering outstanding service and a higher recycling rate than our competition, the company is in the process of developing a massive green initiative media/marketing campaign. Lower Mainland Biodiesel has created a niche market in that it is the only company in BC that actually processes its own reclaimed cooking oils.  Most other companies are collecting oils for animal food supplements; whereas, we are solely collecting for the purpose of processing it into an alternative fuel source.  By becoming one of our suppliers, you will not only be doing your part to help the environment, you will also benefit from all of the exposure we aim to create.

Biodiesel is important to us and worth supporting because it is wanted (green), needed (mandated), and used (service industry/private).  It is wanted because it is a clean burning alternative fuel.  Everyone from policy makers, industry and business leaders, the general public, and even our children are all becoming environmentally aware.  It is needed because not only are all of these people becoming aware, they are taking action.  Policy makers are creating programs and implementing policies.  Industry and business leaders are adapting and putting them into place.  The public is responding by purchasing, consuming, and demanding environmentally friendly products and services.  Most importantly, our children (future policy makers/industry and business leaders/purchasers/consumers) know all about how important sustaining the environment is.  They are now taught from an early age how to reduce their carbon footprint.  A huge part of the school curriculum focuses on that very subject.

The age of “Sustaining Tomorrow’s World, Today”, is just beginning.  Our company, like yours, is adapting and putting into place policies, programs, and strategies to be the top environmental company in our industry.

Believe it or not, you have a huge stake in the future of the biodiesel industry in BC.  It is largely affected by you.  It actually depends on you!

Without your used cooking oil, the biodiesel companies would have very limited affordable resources in which to produce it.  In fact, in BC, there are only a very few actually producing at present.  Time and again, companies that came before us fell to the wayside.  The largest contributing factor for this is due to shortage of raw feedstock; your yellow grease!  The next factor is the high cost associated with producing biodiesel to be sold locally. Due to government policies, taxes, etc., it is more feasible to export it. In fact, the vast majority of biodiesel that is required in BC is actually imported.  Because of these very reasons, it has now become part of our mission to help power the future of BC and eliminate our province’s dependence on foreign fuel.

To avoid the pitfalls of our predecessors, LowerMainland Biodiesel, has created their own “model of sustainability.”  In addition to supplying the international markets with biodiesel, our ultimate goal is to become the choice grease removal service and fuel supplier to the hospitality/food service industry.  We would like to create a niche in that our supplier restaurants will be able to supply us with the feedstock that we would process into biodiesel to sell back and make available for the service industry.  We aim to create a fuel co-op that can be accessed by our partner restaurants/suppliers, their fleets, owners, managers, etc.  This encourages and rewards everyone involved who is also committed to “Sustaining Tomorrow’s World, Today.”

The means by which we will obtain our “model of sustainability” is simple.  It all starts with building a solid foundation!

By partnering with businesses that use our raw product, we aim to establish long-term relationships and build trust by providing, not only, an exceptional collection service, but extensive value added services, as well.  We would like to give our partner restaurants/corporate brands a voice and public recognition in that they are committed to our green initiative and reducing their own footprint on the environment.

We will be promoting our partners in a variety of ways.  We will feature them on our website as participants, as well as, supporters of the environment and biodiesel industry.  We are implementing a visual program whereby the establishment can display stickers/signs to advertise to their patrons that they are a green restaurant/business.  We are initiating a campaign to generate maximum media exposure and create public awareness concerning our issues and that of those who support us.  We have set up a section of our website that will allow patrons to see who is a member, where they are located, their menu type, and they will even be able to rate their dining experience.

Apart from offering outstanding service, a higher recycling rate, multiple value added services, and end user benefits (fuel co-op), the choice is clear.  Through hard work, dedication, and industry knowledge, LowerMainland Biodiesel Inc. is the obvious company to handle the removal of your used cooking oil.  We invite you to join us and be a part of our mission to help power the future of BC and eliminate our province’s dependence on foreign oil.  Help us to help you “sustain tomorrow’s world, today!”

    Most Sincerely,

    LowerMainland Biodiesel Waste
